PÖKITZØ
Welcome to our musical world — mature, unconventional and thought-provoking. Step in front of the stage and experience Single Barrel Rock!!
Five Stories.
One Energy.
Pökitzø — five personalities, five stories, five melting pots of experience, blended into one powerful mix of emotion, passion and determination.
We've been playing together since 2021, performing at clubs, open-air events and festivals. We create music to be shared — carrying emotion, meaning and energy.
Our debut album "niePokój" (2023) created quite a stir. Our songs have been featured on Radiu Nowy Świat, w Radiowej Czwórce, w Eskarock, Radiu Kampus, Radiu Żak, Radiu WNet, Radiu Lublin, Radiu SOK, Radiu MDC, Radiu Bemowo, Radiu Poznań, Proradiu, Radiu RDC and others.
The album was reviewed by the renowned Polish music magazine Teraz Rock. We are Audience Award winners at the RockOkop Festival and Zielona Lipa Festival, as well as winners of Gostyńskie Rockowania and Guitar Days Festival.
We perform our own original material with a message, but we're never afraid to reach for timeless classics, reinterpreting them in our own unmistakable style.
Five Personalities
Petter
Lead vocalist of Pökitzø. A voice capable of moving from a gentle whisper to a sound powerful enough to stop a bus — or at least every conversation at the bar.
On stage, he looks like a man who knows exactly what he's doing. He guides the audience through emotions with elegance and style. He sings as if every song truly matters. Sometimes even a little more than it should. Off stage, he's completely normal. Which naturally raises some suspicion.
SzczePan
Owner of the largest gear collection in the band — a fact the others openly envy.
While others turned their passions into a way of life, he somehow did the opposite. From collecting scrap metal he moved on to collecting cymbals, snare drums and anything else that can be hit with a stick. He's been drumming on everything and everyone around him for as long as anyone can remember. Officially he's responsible for keeping the beat, although he tends to get involved in absolutely everything else too. He can only count to four — fortunately, he keeps doing it over and over again.
Tomek Paradowski
More bass than regulations allow.
On stage, he maintains an intense conversation with his instrument. His playing moves both the audience and himself at the same time. He delivers low frequencies in quantities that inspire equal amounts of admiration and concern. Tomek — putting even more bass into bass.
Pan Adam
A man of mystery.
Calm and composed on stage, until he suddenly unleashes waves of pure emotion without warning. His style is precise, hypnotic and alarmingly effective. He can spot a wrong note from miles away.
Pardziu
A guitarist about whom Joe Satriani once famously said: "I have never met the man."
Groove matters more than rules. He constantly tries to smuggle blues influences into the band's sound — usually without much success. In private he's calm, quiet and seemingly unimpressed by everything. But when he starts playing, time briefly stands still. Fortunately, he knows when to stop before reality completely collapses.
Visuals & Message
Podziały
“Podziały” (“Divisions”), featuring a guest guitar solo by Wojciech Hoffmann, the legendary guitarist of Turbo, is the second single from our upcoming second album, released in January 2026. The song sharply criticizes social, political and religious polarization, showing how people divide themselves into opposing camps — left and right, black and white, us and them. The lyrics expose the absurdity of divisions based on class, religion, gender or national identity, where every difference becomes a reason for conflict. A dynamic rock arrangement and Hoffmann’s powerful solo reinforce the song’s rebellious message. Continuing themes explored in “Hiena” and “Era Wodnika”, the track uses sarcasm and irony as weapons against division, encouraging listeners to see another human being rather than an enemy. The music video, directed by Damian Smykowski, captures the energy and attitude of our live performances and was largely filmed during a concert at Kombinat Kultury in Toruń.

“Hiena” (“Hyena”) is the first single from our upcoming second album, for which we invited several outstanding Polish musicians to collaborate. The hyena serves as a metaphor for consumers of predatory media that thrive on conflict, sensationalism and social outrage. Rather than informing, such media amplify fear, hunt for personal tragedies and exploit collective disasters for clicks and ratings. The lyrics are a cynical satire on hypocrisy, where human suffering becomes a form of entertainment currency. The powerful message is enhanced by the music and guest violin performance by Michał Jelonek. The lyric video was created by Damian Smykowski.

“(To ostatnia) Niedziela” (“The Last Sunday”) is our energetic interpretation of the legendary Polish tango, performed in the style of Single Barrel Rock. It is both a tribute to the original and a reinvention where rock attitude meets the nostalgia of heartbreak. The story follows a wounded lover asking for one final meeting, consumed by despair and unrequited love. Directed by Kuba Kubacki, the music video presents a dark and gripping narrative in which the Devil tempts the abandoned lover to take his own life while fighting for his soul. Will evil prevail? Watch and decide for yourself. Our advice to the broken-hearted remains simple: give it time, go out with friends, and remember that life always offers another chance. The role of the Devil is brilliantly portrayed by Krzysztof Zych.

“Era Wodnika” (“Age of Aquarius”), a single from our debut album “Niepokój”, explores apocalyptic visions of the end of the world while confronting humanity’s responsibility for its own downfall. Yet the song is more than a vision of catastrophe — it is a reflection on self-destruction in an age of crisis and on the enduring desire to survive. The music video, written and directed by Damian Smykowski, features young actors Maja Król and Maciek Kotlarz, while Maciej Gruszczyński powerfully embodies the symbolic departure of the old world. The film reinforces the song’s message: sometimes something important is ending, and we realize it only when it is already too late to stop it.
Read MoreDo Nieba
“Do Nieba” (“To Heaven”) was the first single and the first music video released from our debut album “Niepokój”. It is a sharp satire on political demagoguery and hypocrisy, where populist slogans are woven into a clever and sarcastic critique of manipulation and dishonesty. Our Single Barrel Rock approach burns through these absurdities with provocative irony, encouraging both laughter and reflection. The video itself is SzczePan’s masterpiece — a sequence of AI-generated visuals that perfectly illustrate the lyrics. Surreal and psychedelic images bring political absurdity to life, amplifying the song’s ironic message.
